Hi ppl,
Have you heard the Song : Wind beneath my Wings ?
It talks about the person/people who have helped make you/build you to what you are today. When you hear/read the lyrics you will actually Realise the contribution of these people. The lyricist has done a great job of putting down those feelings in words.

We had sung this song on Teacher's Day at school. But even now & even when we first heard this song, it brings goose bumps when you hear these words.
The reason I am saying people & not 1person, is I feel we are a product of contributions directly/indirectly by all the people around you. They even may be our enemies or not-well-wishers(if they exist).
