Thoughts: Are you Busy?

Hi good day PPL!!!
How are you all? Busy?

Read this, sent by our collegue friend & realised 'We are ALWAYS Busy'. Aren't we?

Do read it:

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 Hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar . . . and the coffee.

A professor stood before his Philosophy class and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.
He then asked the students if the jar was full.
They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar.
He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls.
He then asked the students again if the jar was full.
They agreed it was.
The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar.
Of course, the sand filled up everything else.
He asked once more if the jar was full.
The students responded with an unanimous "yes."
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand.
The students laughed.
"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life.
"The golf balls are the important things - your God, family, your children, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions - things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
"The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car.
"The sand is everything else--the small stuff.
"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
"The same goes for life. "If you spend all your time and energy on the small
stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important to you.
"Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
"Play with your children"

"Take time to get medical checkups".
"Take your partner out to dinner".
"Play another 18".
"There will always be time to clean the house and fix the disposal"
"Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter"
"Set your priorities"
"The rest is just sand."
One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.
The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked.
"It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there’s always room for a cup of coffee with a
FRIEND "

What do you say? Chalo Canteen ;)

Take time out for things You love doing & the Golf balls :)

Bye.take care.

Movie: Yes Man !

Hi Goood day ppl !

Its Yes man, Not Yes Mam ;) !

This is about the movie Yes Man I saw over the loooong weekend.

A good Watch !

It starrs Jim Carrey, Zooey Deschanel & lot more characters. Apart from Jim Carrey's comedy & Zooey Deschanel's take Life as it Comes attitude, Its an awesome movie with a gr8 Message.

The message is about saying YES to as many things in Life as they come by. That doesnt mean you cant say No to things which you dont want to do, but try saying Yes to the things which you want to do in your heart but inturn say No.

In the beginning Jim Carrey is shown as he is in depression due to his divorce with his wife & trying to stay away from all social contacts & making life monotonous. He has let down his friends, just does his job without any interest, goes home watches movies instead of going out with friends or doing something in life.

Then one day he meets a friends who invites him to a show by a well known speaker & tells him about the new concept Yes. After a nightmare, that he is dead & his friends discussing He never lived his life, he goes for the seminar. There he is told to say Yes to everything he comes across. He starts by giving a homeless man a ride in his car, mobile battery down, his car runs out of fuel, now he is stranded. But as he goes walking in search of fuel, his life starts turning around as he starts saying Yes to everything that he comes across.

But at the end of the movie he comes to know that its getting out of hand. He hunts down the speaker & asks him why everthing is going wrong. The speaker explains that You have to say Yes to things which you want to do in your heart but wouldnt do & No to things which you dont want to. But the trick is in saying Yes to as many things as possible.

The side effects of saying Yes, Jim Carrey comes to realise is he starts going for bungee jumping, helping the homeless, learning to play the guitar, learning new language all of which comes to his aid unexpectedly. He realises first he didnt commit to anything coz he thought he never had anything to share, but after this experience he feels he is a unique person, has lot of things to share, has many friends & well wishers.

There are plenty of characters in the movie all of which have their own space & blend in beautifully.

The movie was refreshing. I tried to give the concept a try & ITs awesome ! :) I was complaining continuosly 'I am getting bored' since saturday morning. But after watching the movie in the afternoon, I tried to list down things I would LIKE to do & started by saying Yes to each of them. So over the 2days I have done min 1hour of walking each day, shopping, got things done which were pending & read Reader's Digest + helping mom a lil ;) !

Try it ppl ! Its a refereshing thing.

Till then Bye.Take care. Have a great Week !
